So it is official...London turned 8 on Saturday the 23 and was baptized the same day. I can't believe I have an 8 yr. old. I guess that means I am getting older too :( It was a great weekend. We had Grandpa and Grandma Starley, Bugga, Grandpa Cheney and Grandma Pat come out to Ohio to be with London. She was very excited that her grandparents could be there. We are really proud of her. She has always been such a great kid and a good example to others. We feel very blessed to have her in our family. She is such a beautiful little girly girl. She had fun trying on dresses and picking out shoes. Thanks to all the little Catholic girls who had their first communion about a month ago...all the dresses were on sale and it worked out perfect for us. You can't beat $19.99 for her gorgeous dress at JC Penny. Her shoes were almost that much and it will cost about that to get the thing dry cleaned. But who cares, you only get baptized once right?

The girls got to miss a day of school and we visited Amish country. It was a beautiful day. We spent it touring an amish house, school and farm. We even got to ride in a buggy (the girls favorite part-even Sydney couldn't sit still). Us minus Sydney (she was sleeping)Bugga (my mom)

It was a fun weekend! The guys (my dad, greg's dad, and Greg), even managed to get some golf in at Firestone Country Club. Thanks to our friend in the ward who got them on.
Thanks to everyone who came out and who was involved any way in making London's weekend special. I know she will always remember it.
