Day Before School

The last days of summer are always such a bummer. The kids are cramming in their play time with friends and enjoying their lazy mornings. However, that hasn't been too hard since we all (except Dr. Dad) have been sleeping in til 10. Since having another baby, the girls have definitely learned how to use a toaster, make chocolate milk, use the remote control and all TV and DVD equipment. But those days are over. Tomorrow marks another year of no sleeping in, packing lunches, getting to the bus stop on time, taking Brooklyn to preschool, volunteering at school, and doing homework and all those fun school projects that the parents end up doing anyway. Yea! I can't wait. We get to go meet the teachers tonight so it shall be an eventful night trying to get everything put together for tomorrow. I think the hardest part will be getting the girls to go to sleep at a decent time so they will wake up on time. I guess that goes for me too so no more late night movies.
